Job Description
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
Roles / Duties
- Residential interior and exterior painting
- Setting up scaffolding, ladders, and protective coverings
- Mixing paint components to desired colors and consistency
- Installing wallpaper, aligning patterns, trimming edges
- Prepping surfaces: stripping old paint, repairs, sealing
- Applying paints, stains, varnishes (brush, roller, spray)
- Cleaning tools and job site after completion
- Repairing/replacing window panes (wood or metal frames)
- Occasional decorative work (feature walls, wallpaper)
- Wall/floor tile installation and repair
- Work Health & Safety (WHS) awareness
- Professional client and team communication
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of painting experience (maintenance or construction)
- Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
- Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
- Good written and verbal communication
- NSW Driver’s Licence and own transport
